Requirements
GET ENROLLED AT THE LOS ANGELES RECORDING SCHOOL
To apply and be considered for admission to The Los Angeles Recording School’s Recording Engineer Program, please submit the following:
• Fully completed application for enrollment
• $75.00 non-refundable application fee
• Official high school transcript (If a college degree was earned, an official transcript from the college or university where the degree was earned will be accepted in lieu of an official high school transcript.) Unofficial transcripts are not accepted.
Applicants must have a basic proficiency in the English language. The Los Angeles Recording School does not offer English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction
ADMISSIONS DEPARTMENT AND REQUIREMENTS
The admissions department is here to answer any questions you may have and help you get enrolled in The Los Angeles Recording School.
The Los Angeles Recording School has an open enrollment policy, and start dates occur every four weeks. Enrollment is open to high school graduates who is seriously interested in the field of professional audio production. No previous experience in recording is required for admission.
To take the first step toward becoming a professional recording engineer, you can enroll in person or by mail. To enroll in person, stop by the school and visit with an Admissions Representative during our office hours. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
For admission consideration, The Los Angeles Recording School requires candidates to meet the following criteria:
• Be a high school graduate (or have the equivalent GED)
